Experts predict that water will be the biggest environmental challenge facing our children as they reach adulthood. Water is an important issue worldwide and here in southern Nevada. This is one of two trainings that provide objective, experiential, science-based water education scaffolded for our youngest learners up to our graduating high school students. This workshop takes a multidisciplinary, hands-on approach to the Colorado River’s hydrology, geology, geography, agriculture, development, species, and landscape. Learn more about how the western states share water across the broad Colorado River watershed and what the future looks like for our water supply. This is a 6-hour / 2 CU workshop.
